Morrison Springs offers some of the best no-fee scuba diving opportunities in Northwest Florida! The dive area is a 250 feet wide spring basin surrounded by a grove of cypress trees. Entry point is gently sloped sand and depths vary due to local river flow. At 25 feet there is a training platform and in the center of the basin there is a funnel-shaped entrance to the caverns. The small cavern is at 35 feet and the large cavern entrance is at 50 feet. Depths can reach about 90 feet in the large cavern room. Light is always visible upon entering the large cavern.

Water temps stay constant at about 65-68 degrees all year due to the spring. A good spring flow and the nearby river keep the water extremely clear. You may encounter freshwater eels throughout the cavern: a very cool experience! Facilities include bench areas, a bathhouse, restrooms, a large covered picnic pavilion, freshwater wash-down showers, and some night-time floodlights for the park area.
